How to Get Emberscythe in MM2: Cauldron Crafting Guide

Emberscythe is one of the main MM2 Halloween 2026 rewards, but you won’t find it as the regular Godly inside the Halloween Box. Its recipe connects two different parts of the event: the final battle pass reward and the box Godly.

That makes the choice worth thinking through. You can earn both ingredients and craft, trade for the missing piece, or choose the finished scythe. This guide explains how to get Emberscythe in MM2 without mixing it up with Embersickle or spending on the wrong knife.

The names matter. Emberknife is a different battle pass knife. Embergun is another seasonal skin. Neither is a replacement for the two named ingredients.

Getting Emberbow for the recipe

Emberbow is the purple and orange Ancient gun at the end of the Halloween battle pass. The pass has 30 tiers, and the final weapon is listed at 100,000 Candies after earlier progression.

If you still need it, decide whether you want to finish the pass or buy Emberbow as a separate item. Buying the gun can save that progression time, but it does not unlock the rest of your pass rewards.

Don’t mistake the final weapon price for the whole cost of starting from tier one. Earlier tiers use Candies as well. Published event tables disagree on the combined total, so work from the costs displayed in your own pass menu rather than a single copied number.

If you’re collecting the full Ember set, you may want to keep an Emberbow too. Budget for that before crafting, since the gun used as an ingredient is not an extra free copy.

Embersickle is the curved Godly knife from the 2026 Halloween Box. The event wiki lists a box opening at 600 Candies or one Halloween Key. Opening it gives a random reward, so you cannot choose this knife from the box menu.

If you already have Emberbow and just need the second ingredient, shop Embersickle directly rather than spending the rest of your Candy balance on uncertain attempts.

Keys earned from the pass are useful if you want to try the box while keeping Candies for pass progress. Just keep your goal clear: opening enough boxes is not a fixed-time promise of an Embersickle drop.

Where is the Cauldron in MM2?

In the Halloween 2026 lobby, look towards the buildings on the left side and find the seasonal NPC. The Cauldron is behind that NPC, in front of the buildings. It’s part of the event lobby, rather than a weapon box or the normal trading window.

Join a server running the Halloween update, walk up to the Cauldron and open its interaction. Check that the recipe shows the exact two items you intend to use before continuing.

How to craft Emberscythe, step by step

1. Get one Emberbow. Earn the final pass weapon or obtain the actual gun through an item trade.
2. Get one Embersickle. Obtain the box Godly or trade for the actual knife.
3. Open the Halloween Cauldron. Find it behind the seasonal NPC in the lobby.
4. Check the recipe and confirmation. Match the ingredient names to your inventory and read what will be exchanged.
5. Confirm only when you’re happy to use both items. The craft exchanges the ingredients for the finished weapon.
6. Check your inventory for Emberscythe. You now have the Ancient knife rather than the two regular ingredients used for the craft.

There is no need to buy another box after you already have the correct Embersickle. The next step is the Cauldron, not another random roll.

Emberscythe is the long Ancient knife with the purple pumpkin detail and hooked blade. Choose it if the finished scythe is the item you actually want to equip.

Don’t assume using a Chroma ingredient guarantees a Chroma result. Read the current interface and any developer instructions before committing a rarer weapon. A regular Emberscythe listing in our store also means that named regular version, unless the listing explicitly says otherwise.
